How To Right-Click on a Chromebook |
If you are not using an external mouse with your GCA Chromebook, you will need to use the trackpad for all the mouse functions. A single-finger click or tap on the trackpad works for the standard left-click function. But when you need to use a right-click function, follow these instructions.
1. Position two fingers on the trackpad next to each other. With two fingers, click once. Do not double-click.
2. Another option is to position your cursor on the screen where you would like to right-click. Then, hold the alt key and tap or single click on the trackpad.
3. Once you have followed either Step 1 or Step 2, you will see the right-click menu on the screen. Choose the function you want from that menu. Depending on where you are right-clicking on the screen, the menu options will be different. Shown below is just one possible right-click menu.
