If the internet is not working on the Chromebook when connected to Wi-Fi, please follow the steps below.
Forget a Network on a Chromebook
Access Wi-Fi Settings
- Click on the Status Bar at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Select the Wi-Fi icon to open the Wi-Fi menu.
Forget the Network
- Find the network(s) you want to forget in the list of available networks.
- Click on the network name.
- Select Forget to remove the network from your Chromebook.
Reconnect to the Network
Reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Click on the Status Bar again and select the Wi-Fi icon.
- Choose the network name from the list of available networks.
- Enter the password if prompted, then click Connect.
Verify Connection
- Click on the Status Bar again at the bottom-right corner of the screen. Ensure the Wi-Fi icon shows as blue, indicating a successful connection.
Test your internet access by opening a web page.
