| Chromebook Tips: How to Find Your Camera on the Chromebook |
The camera on your Chromebook is used for many purposes, from scanning your assignment as a PDF to being present on camera in a live class session. Do you know where to find your camera? Follow these instructions.
Step 1: From your Chromebook home screen, click on the Launcher, found in the lower-left corner of your Chromebook screen.
Step 2: Choose the Camera. If you don't see the Camera option, type Camera in the search bar.
Step 3: Your camera will pop up in a new window displaying options, for Video, Photo, Square, and Scan. To see how to use the scan function, click here.
Step 4: If you see a black screen and the camera light on your device is on, you may need to slide the privacy screen open.
