When GCA has processed your Re-Registration Application, you will receive a status update via automated email. In the list below you will find the most common status updates and an explanation of their contents.
**Note! Please play close attention to any automated emails from GCA as they will be an important part of your Re-Registration process.**
Tips about automated Re-Registration status emails.
- All automated status emails are sent from donotreply@georgiacyber.org.
- Please do not reply to these emails. If you have questions about your Re-Registration status, reach out directly to your Family Engagement Liaison (FEL).
- If you find the automated email in your spam or junk folder, please place it in your primary email inbox for the best email quality and access to all hyperlinks.
- The subject line will indicate the preliminary status of your Re-Registration. The details (inlcuding your application number) will be included in the body of the email
- The actions you are required to take are also found in the body of the email...please read it carefully and thoroughly.
Re-Registration Denied
Reasons for Denial, found in the body of your automated email.
1) POR (Proof of Residence)
Your Proof of Residence might be:
- Missing.
- An unacceptable document. Click here for a list of POR documents allowed.
- A poor image or illegible.
2) POR (Proof of Residence) Missing 4400
Your Proof of Residence is an issue (see #1) and the required GA Dept of Health form is missing for your 6th and/or 8th grade student(s). Click here for the Form 4400.
3) Not Compliant
Your application is missing required enrollment documents that have not been submitted during the acceptable window of time to turn them in. Click here to review the list of required documentation.
4) Update and Re-Submit
You may be missing documentation or academic records for a new sibling that you wish to enroll.
Re-Registration Hold
Reasons for Hold, found in the body of your automated email.
Transcripts or academic records are not submitted for your student in 9th - 12th grade. This is a courtesy hold that will remain in place until these records are provided.
Re-Registration Conditionally Approved
Reasons for Conditional Approval, found in the body of your automated email.
The GA Dept of Health 4400 is still missing and GCA is waiting for the document to be submitted during the acceptable window of time to turn it in
Re-Registration Not Registering
Reasons for Not Registering, found in the body of your automated email.
The student(s) listed in the application is/are not registering for the next school year with GCA.
