Google Resources in Canvas Modules |
If your teacher has embedded Google resources (such as Docs or Slides) in your Canvas Modules, learn how to use them more effectively in the examples below.
Embedded Google Docs
Be sure to open the document tabs on the left side by clicking on the three lines. This will give you the ability to jump straight to the information you're looking for.
Use the tabs on the left to scroll through the directory listed.
When you click on the link from the left side directory, it will take you to that location in the Google Doc.
You have access to the tools at the top of the Doc. Use the View option to zoom in or out.
Embedded Google Slides
Use the film strip at the left side to scroll through and click on the individual slide you want to see. If want to hide the film strip, and simply scroll through the slides in the main view, choose the left facing arrow.
You may also choose to view the slides in a grid format by choosing the four squares on the left side.
You have access to the tools at the top of the Slides. Use the View option to zoom in or out.
