How to Schedule a Shipment for New Equipment |
When it is time for you to schedule a shipment of your student's new equipment, you will receive an email with a link to complete a form. If you prefer to watch a video of these instructions, click here.
On the first page of the form, please enter the email address for the Primary Legal Guardian as listed in Infinite Campus. This email must match the one you provided to GCA for the Primary Legal Guardian. You must also have the student ID for at least one of the students in your household.
You will be sent an 8 digit verification code to the email address you entered. The email subject line is Georgia Cyber Academy - Shipping Verification Code and will come from Georgia Cyber Academy. The code expires in one hour so be sure to find it and use it right away. If necessary, check your junk or spam folders too.
Enter the code on your screen and click Verify Code. If you need to have the code resent, choose to do so and check your email inbox again.,
Next, you will be asked to verify the address on file with GCA. If the address is correct, simply click Yes, this is correct. However, if you need to update your address, choose that option and Continue.
If you need to update your address you will have the option to do so. However, you should not schedule your shipment until your address has been corrected and updated. Do you already know you need to update your address? Click here.
Next, you will see the students in your household for whom you can schedule a shipment.
Please pay close attention to the information in the orange box! If you choose to delay the shipment of your equipment, it will not postpone your student's start date for school. You will be expected to provide your own personal equipment for your student to begin school while waiting for the arrival of the GCA issued Chromebook.
Click Yes to schedule a shipment for your student. If you click No, you are declining the equipment and it will not be shipped to you. Please keep in mind that using a GCA issued Chromebook is highly recommended for the student's best experience.
Select the date you would like to have the equipment shipped to you. Please note the expected delivery date in each box and confirm that an adult over the age of 21 will be home on that date to receive and sign for the delivery. You will also confirm that you will keep all shipping materials for use in returning the equipment at a later date.
