| Getting Started with the Annotate Extension |
To use the Annotate extension in Chrome, a student must be specifically invited via email and follow the instructions below. Any student allowed to use the extension will see it in the browser extensions as shown below.
The student will receive an email in their Gmail inbox from Annotate Support shown as Annotate Course Registration.
Open the email and click on the link shown in the screenshot below.
Click on Sign up with Google.
Always choose the student GCA email address.
Choose Allow.
Enter the student's birth month and year.
Check both boxes to agree to terms of the Annotate extension.
Click on Sign up as a Student.
Click on Continue to Dashboard.
Once you see the Dashboard screen you are ready to use the Annotate tools and can close the tab for Annotate | Student Player.

Every time you open your Chrome browser, you may need to log back in to the Annotate extension following the instructions below.
Begin by clicking on the Annotate extension and choosing Sign in.
Always choose Sign in with Google.
Always choose the student GCA email address.
Once you see the Dashboard screen you are ready to use the Annotate tools and can close the tab for Annotate | Student Player.
