Only students who have been pre-approved to use this tool will need these instructions.
The Audio Maker tool converts selected text into an audio file, for example MP3, which will be automatically downloaded and can then be saved or shared in Google Drive.
To use this feature of Read&Write, click and drag to highlight the text you would like as part of your audio file. Click on the icon (shown above), which will go gray and the conversion will take place.
Once the audio file is ready, it will be placed in the Downloads section of your computer. You can then click and drag to upload it into your Google Drive.
