Using ctrl + F to Find Information On Any Page |
✨ Thank you, Alaa M., for the November Tech Tip! ✨
From anywhere on your screen, choose ctrl + F for the ability to search that page for information.
Example 1:
If you would like to find a specific assignment in your Modules and you know a keyword from that assignment title, use ctrl+F on the keyboard to find it.
In the Modules list of your Canvas course, hold the ctrl key down and press the F key. When you see the box in the upper right corner of your screen, type in your keyword. In this example, we are using "reinforcement".
The box will show you how many times the word is found on that page and you can use the arrows to navigate directly to each word.
Example 2:
While viewing a Google Doc, hold the ctrl key down and press the F key to find any keyword in the document. When you see the box in the upper right corner of your screen, type in your keyword. In this example, we are using "eagle".
The box will show you how many times the word is found on that page and you can use the arrows to navigate directly to each word.
Endless possibilities! Try using the ctrl + F keys when searching a website too!
