Opting In to the GCA Family Directory |
For families who opt in, the GCA Family Directory offers an opportunity to reach out to other families whose students attend GCA, allowing families to engage, share information, and build meaningful connections within the GCA school community in a safe and controlled environment.
Highlights and Tips
- Only the Legal Guardian of the student may choose to opt in to the Family Directory. The email submitted on the opt in form must match the one in Infinite Campus. If you need to update that information, please contact your Family Engagement Liaison (FEL).
-
Once you have submitted the opt in form, the following steps will take place.
- You will receive an email confirmation of your submission. This email also includes an overview of the Family Directory and instructions for opting out if you change your mind.
- You will receive an email for your account activation so you can activate your login and create a password for the Directory.
- About an hour later, you will receive an email with a direct link to the Family Directory for your student's grade band.
- If any link in the emails takes you to the home page of the website, you may find the Parent Portal and then the Family Directory as shown below. Click on More at the top right banner of the site. Hover over Parent Portal to see the options.
Please view all the following slides for information on how to opt in and use this valuable, password protected social resource.
