EOPA Testing for Game Design |
Follow these instructions when logging in to your Game Developer exam.
Go to https://www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/unity.html
Choose to Log in.
Enter the Username and Password provided to you. Choose Sign In
Choose the option to View exams
Choose the Exam Code of UCA-156, with the Exam Name of Unity Certified Associate: Game Developer
At the next screen:
1) Confirm that you have chosen the correct exam
2) Click on I have a Private Access Code
3) Carefully type in the Private Access Code given to you by your teacher
4) Click Enter
You should see a confirmation that your Private Access Code has been successfully applied.
Scroll down and click Next.
Choose your preferred language for the exam.
Agree to Unity's Privacy Policy, then click Next.
Agree to Unity's Certification Policies, then click Next.
On the next screen, be careful to confirm your exam details and your contact information. Then choose Proceed to Checkout in the lower right corner.
At the next screen, enter the Voucher Code provided to you by your teacher. Once you have successfully typed in the code, you can click the button to Apply.
Scroll down and chooser Submit Order.
Confirm that you are booked for the exam.
**STOP HERE! Do not click the link to Get it Now for the secure browser.**
**Choose the correct instructions below based on whether you are using a GCA issued Windows computer or a personal computer.**
If you have a GCA issued Windows computer:
On your desktop, double-click the Unity app icon, as shown below.
You will briefly see the screen for the Installation progress. Do not Pause or Cancel during the installation.
Please wait as the app is securing your computer and launching your exam. This step is also checking for open apps that may need to be closed before your test.
Click agree on the Software Licensing Agreement.
Only if you have apps open that must be closed, you may see the screen below. Click OK.
Once you are in the testing window, click Close this message in the upper right corner regarding Privacy and Cookies.
You will log in with your username and password to begin the test.
If you have a personal computer:
Go to https://www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/unity/client-proctored.html?tab=i-am-a-test-taker
Choose the tab for I am a test taker, as shown below.
On the left side, click the first step titled Before your testing event. Then click Run system check.
Enter your name for System Check Information and click Run Check.
Once your system check is complete (and this may take a few minutes), choose the next step for At the event and launch the secure browser for Windows.
