| Join Class from a Canvas Calendar Event |
To join a Class session from a link in a Canvas Calendar event, follow these instructions. Please note that all screenshots are samples.
Go to the Canvas Calendar in the student's Canvas account.
Find the event on your Canvas Calendar. The teacher will let you know the date of the event and the name of the event.
When you click on the event, use the link in the event to attend the Class session.
After clicking the link, you will see the blue buttons for Join Class room or Launch. Choose either one to join the Class session.
Class will open in a new browser tab. Choose to Join on the web.
In the waiting room, shown below, patiently wait for the teacher to let you in. The teacher has been notified that you are there.
Please be patient when you first join the session. After a moment, you will be asked to choose Continue for the audio to be enabled.
