| Attending Class in Canvas |
All students must join Class from inside their Canvas account for attendance to be recorded. Follow the instructions below, always using the button for Today's Live Classes.

Click any button for Today's Live Classes, visible on your Dashboard and Calendar in Canvas.
Click Join Class. If you do not see the Join Class button at the exact start time of the class period, close and reopen the button for Today's Live Classes.
Click the blue Launch button or the Join Class room button. If you do not see them at the exact start time of the class period, refresh the tab.
**Using a link to join Class outside of Canvas will result in the message below. If you see this message, close the tab and follow the instructions above from within the student Canvas account.
**Using a smartphone to attend Class is discouraged and may result in unrecorded attendance in Class.**
