| Entering SchoolSpace |
When you are invited to join a social opportunity in SchoolSpace, the link will be sent to your GCA Gmail inbox. Find your Gmail inbox from the Champion Portal page.
Open the email with "SchoolSpace" in the subject and click on the link.
SchoolSpace will open in a new tab. You will need to choose Sign in before anything else, choosing Login with GCA SSO to do so.
*Only GCA students are able to log into a SchoolSpace and only with a specific invitation.*
Once you have logged in with GCA SSO, your Display Name will automatically populate your first name and last initial of your GCA account. This cannot be changed. Choose your Avatar, your Avatar Color, then Enter World.
Please read the welcome announcement before closing. Because of the audio capabilities in SchoolSpace, headphones are recommended but not required.
Once you are in the world, you will need to turn on your microphone.
If this is your first time in SchoolSpace, you will need to allow access to your microphone in the browser.
To mute and unmute yourself, choose the microphone icon in the upper right corner of your profile in SchoolSpace.
To mute or unmute the audio of others in the world, choose the speaker icon in the upper right corner of their profile.
You can only control your own mic, not the microphone of others in the world. If another student has their microphone off, you will not be able to hear them, even if you have not muted them.
You have been invited to experience GCA's SchoolSpace as an earned privilege. Continue that positive behavior as you move about in SchoolSpace.
