**Please be aware that appropriate and respectful behavior and communication are expected from all GCA students using the NetTutor program with a live tutor.
1. You will access NetTutor directly from the Navigation Tab within your Canvas Course.
2. When you click on NetTutor, it will open a new tab in your browser for Academic Support.
You have the choice to have a live session with the NetTutor Tutoring Center or the NetTutor Writing Center.
3. Once you choose your preferred type of tutoring, you will be asked to accept the End User License Agreement. Choose, I Agree.
4. For the live tutoring option, you will see different subjects to choose from to receive tutoring.
5. Once you choose your subject, you have choices as to what type of tutoring, Drop in and Meet with a Live Tutor, Schedule an Appointment, or Drop off a Question.
6. If you choose the Live Tutor Option within your tab, a session will begin to connect you with a tutor. You will have the ability to type to your tutor and receive help.
7. To leave a session, click Leave. It will load another page to confirm that you want to close the session. If you confirm the session is over, a feedback survey will appear.
8. If you mistakenly close out your live session, you can rejoin the session. Choose Rejoin Session
9. After completing your session there is the ability to review your session in your (Subject) Locker. This is a great feature available where you can rewatch a video of your tutoring session and/or review feedback on Drop off a Question.
