Position on the Team: Operational Technology Assistant Director Years with GCA: Nine (9) Best tech support story: My favorite tech support story is from a few years ago when I was still very new in the tech support role. A teacher reached out to me about wanting to create something really special for her students using a new program. We worked really hard to make it special for her students and they were so happy! We both learned a lot and we were both SO happy to bring a smile to her students' faces! Favorite picture on my phone right now: My favorite picture right now is when I took my children to Florida over Spring Break and they got to experience the clear blue waters and sugary sand of the Gulf Coast for the first time. They look so happy! What makes me happy? Springtime when the plants are waking up and blooming, the birds are singing, and the butterflies come out to say hello! |
Position on the Team: Student Tech Support Coordinator Years with GCA: Nine (9) Best tech support story: Learning something new from a tech tip submitted by a student and using it the very same day to help another family! Favorite picture on my phone right now: My family in full giddy excitement about a concert we're about to attend. What makes me happy? Being outside near anything naturally beautiful, in a circle of family and friends, maybe around a campfire, talking, laughing, or sitting in comfortable silence. |
Position on the Team: Student Tech Support Specialist Years with GCA: Three (3) Best tech support story: I enjoy working with everyone to help a family. Collaboration is the key! While working on an issue with a program, their FEL also chimed in with how they worked with the student and we worked together to solve it so much faster! I love teamwork! Favorite picture on my phone right now: I enjoy traveling and encountering places I have not seen before! I have the best photo of the sun as it sets just above a mountain, capturing my excitement and true love for nature. Spectacular! What makes me happy? My family makes me happy and working with a wonderful team here at GCA! |
Position on the Team: Student Tech Support Specialist Years with GCA: Two (2) Best tech support story: It's always a great day when a person lacking confidence in their technology skills realizes that they're more technologically savvy than they originally realized. Favorite picture on my phone right now: A picture of my friend and me on the day we were discharged from the hospital after she donated a kidney to me. What makes me happy? Bachata and salsa dancing, especially if it's with my husband, and of course my husband himself, my dogs, the ocean or a crystalline river- bonus if there's a waterfall, and if there's a combination of those things at once, I'm in heaven. |
